Ordering Your Cabinet

Ordering your cabinet from Divine Design is safe, secure and above all easy. We take all the guess work out of it by working with you, one on one, to fully outline your preferences and options. Unless we have agreed on a finish stain, this may include providing you wood samples actually cut from the stock we'll be using and then working to arrive at the finish stain that you feel most comfortable with before we ever process your order.

Because each cabinet is custom crafted, we have a limited number of production slots open each month. During the spring and summer months we can easily accommodate most order requests. However, during the winter heating seasons, demand runs close to our production capabilities. While we can delay final payment and delivery at your option, we will not accept an order that can't be scheduled for completion within the terms of our agreement. Consequently, we strongly encourage those concerned with the drying effects of winter months on their instruments to order early - enjoy playing a whole lot more and worrying about it a whole lot less.

Once the order is placed, we begin work immediately, providing periodic updates as the work progresses. If either of us have a question or concern along the way, we'll visit on the phone or via email to discuss it. Then, just prior to crating the cabinet for shipment we provide a full set of pictures for your review. Upon approval and receipt of the remaining balance, your cabinet is shipped within five business days.

Pick-up / Delivery

While we invite you to pick your cabinet up at our shop location to avoid any delay in shipping, we realize that it may not be practical. In the alternative your cabinet will be crated and shipped to your home via an LTL carrier at your expense.

For all cabinets delivered by an LTL carrier, we will crate your cabinet and arrange shipping direct to your residence. There is a nominal crating charge of $175.00. Master Series cabinets are contained in two crates - Player Series in one. Shipping to locations within the continental U.S. for all standard size cabinets will be provided at your expense using the carrier of our choice, based on location and our experience with the carrier. Average times en route, from pickup at our facility to delivery at your home generally runs between 3-7 days, again, depending upon the carrier selected. You will be provided a tracking number upon pickup by the carrier at our location.

Delivery: When the subject Cabinet is complete, you will be given the option of either picking the cabinet up at our shop, or having it shipped directly to your place of residence. Shipping will be via an LTL carrier and includes lift-gate service for the purpose off-loading your cabinet from the truck.

Deposit and Production Time: A deposit of at least 30% of the pre tax order total, but not less than $1,200.00, is required to begin production. The remaining balance is due when the cabinet has been completed, prior to shipping. Upon receipt of your order by Divine Design Wood Works, LLC, the wood for your cabinet will be selected and work commenced. If not already agreed upon prior to the order, within 7 days of the start date, Divine Design Wood Works will provide stain and finish samples applied to the actual wood used for the cabinet's construction, at which point you may elect an alternate finish option (stain/finish only). You will be updated approximately every week to ten days, depending upon our work load, of the progress and will be provided photographs (electronically) of the finished product prior to shipment.

If you're ordering a Master series cabinet, your cabinet will generally be completed and ready for shipment within 50 business days (60 days for specialty or custom orders) of the date upon which your order is accepted, depending in part on the options included with the order. If its a Standard Player series, it will be complete and ready to ship within 40 business days. Oversize and highly customized Player cabinets may take an additional 14 to 21 business days.
